Keystone Lodge and Spa, Keystone, CO

Surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains and thousands of acres of national forest, Keystone Lodge & Spa, in Keystone, Colorado, claims to be “the perfect year-round mountain resort destination,” and I have to you that one can’t help but agree with them. Not quite as luxurious as some of its RockResort peers, the Keystone Lodge & Spa is a true, all-encompassing Rocky Mountain resort where you can indulge in every outdoor activity imaginable: Winter activities, skiing, ice scating and snowboarding; summer outdoor ativities, Golf, Fishing andBoating on Keystone Lake. With 152 guest rooms and one of the largest, most up-to-date conference centers I’ve ever seen, it’s also the ideal location for a corporate convention, wedding or family gathering.

Skiing: Keystone Lodge in Winter is one of those places most of us can only dream about. Skiing at Keystone is, of course, the premier activities, but there’s so much more from snowboarding to snowshoeing to cross-country skiing to ice skating and so the list goes on; you’ll never be at a loss for something to do. Even at night, you can enjoy night-skiing, tubing, apres-ski events, relaxing in a hot tub, and fine dining.

Golf: Although Keystone Lodge and Spa has two on-site golf courses of its own – The River Course and The Ranch Courss, it‘s also a part of the RockResort group, thus golf is available to resort guests on all five of the local golf courses that comprise the RockResort Golf Trail – all championship courses, and all designed by some of the biggest names in the industry: Norman, Fazio, Robert Trent Jones Jr., etc., and feature some of the most spectacular holes of golf I’ve ever seen. Better yet, the ball flies father at 8,000 feet than it does at sea level – it’s true, really. So, if you’re looking for a golfing challenge with a difference, this is it.

Conference Facilities:

The Keystone Conference Center, located directly opposite and within a short walk of the lodge, offers access to more than 100,000 square feet of meeting, exhibit, and function space. Groups of all sizes catered for and will enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and restaurants recognized by ZAGATSurvey as the best in Colorado.
